LINDSY RENE WILLIAMS
Paper Cutting/Painter/Installation

Untitled, 2013. Paper box installation.
“It has been told that you can always tell a lot by an individual from the type of shoes they wear.”
Through awareness within the relationships and dynamics of different groups of people her current work explores these individualities and pathways of life in which draws them together, reflecting on her experiences during a work placement as an art therapy assistant. Using a range of shoes and selectively placing them in a set of sequence, she reflects on how people of different walks of life are drawn together, translating this message through the form of arrangement and space.
“The beauty is within the type of people I have met, relationship that are built and the diverse/dimension within the group. But at the same time have been drawn to one place for a sense of freedom or purpose which will allow them to express themselves visually within art.”
